LEW MYERS NAMED ADVISOR TO AAAM BOARD OF DIRECTORS

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC -- Lew Myers, director of business development for The Freelon Group Architects, has been selected to serve a three-year term as an advisor to The Association of African American Museums (AAAM) Board of Directors (beginning in January 2005). Myers will be a non-voting member of the board, and will assist the board with refining and executing the AAAM Strategic Plan.

 

The Freelon Group has been a member of AAAM since 1999.

 

The Association of African American Museums is a non-profit membership organization serving the interests and needs of African American museums, cultural institutions and museum professionals throughout the nation.

 

The Freelon Group is a 54-person architectural firm founded by Philip G. Freelon, FAIA (Fellow, American Institute of Architects) in 1990. The firm provides services nationwide with offices in the Research Triangle Park and Charlotte, North Carolina.
