The Freelon Group is proud to announce the following promotions:

 

Member of its Board of Directors and a Shareholder

Lew Myers, Director of Business Development for the Freelon Group since 1997. Mr. Myers received his MBA from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He served as Assistant Secretary for Small Business in the NC Department of Commerce for eight years and chaired the NCCBI Economic Development Committee for four years. Mr. Myers serves on the boards of the Center for Community Self Help, the North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development, and North Carolina State University's Industrial Extension Service.

 

New Senior Associate:

Kevin Turner, AIA, senior project architect, who received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Miami.

 

New Associates:

C. Todd Case, AIA, LEED® AP, Project Architect, who received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University;

 

Kenneth Luker, AIA, LEED® AP, Senior Designer, who received his Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University and his Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from Texas A&M University;

 

Anna Marich Mehlman, Assoc. AIA, Graphic Design Lead, who received her Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture degrees from North Carolina State University; and

 

The Freelon Group is a 50-person, award-winning architectural firm founded by Philip G. Freelon, FAIA (Fellow, American Institute of Architects) in 1990. The firm's design portfolio centers on Higher Education, Science/Technology and Museum and Cultural Center projects.
