RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC –– An article on the Community Design Review Process written by Philip Freelon, founder and president of The Freelon Group Architects, appears in the November/December 2007 edition of Urban Land, the magazine published by the Urban Land Institute (www.uli.org)
Noting that “One of the most significant changes in the practice of architecture over the past decade in the United State is the ever-increasing role the public has taken in shaping the design of buildings,” Freelon offers ways that “architects and urban designers can strengthen community dialogue and build lasting partnerships in the process.”
